Business Continuity at Leaf

Published March 17, 2020

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic evolves and brings more uncertainty to an industry already suffering from all too many disruptions, I want to assure you that we at Leaf are closely monitoring developments related to the outbreak, and making every effort to expand and enhance our ability to serve our customers.

Our top priority remains the health and well being of our team and customers. We’re following guidance and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and local authorities to ensure we maintain operational readiness and are here to help navigate through these uncertain times.

To reduce the risk of exposure, we’ve cancelled non-essential business travel for our team, and limited the number of visitors to our New York office. We’re also reviewing our operating plans, ensuring we have contingencies in place to provide uninterrupted service to our customers, and providing consistent communications using the data and technology available through the Leaf platform.

From our founding in 2017, Leaf has operated as a distributed team. We have developed processes and tools to ensure the highest standards of customer service and we’re building on this foundation as we expand our team’s capacity, adding customer success and technology expertise to better serve the growing needs of our shipper and provider customers.

These exceptional circumstances are a reminder of why we built Leaf: to bring service and cost predictability to the industry. We believe these past few weeks, and the weeks to come, will help us build more resilience and robustness across the Leaf network. With your partnership, we look forward to expanding our data driven forward planning and coordination work, enhancing trust and transparency between shippers and providers.

Finally, as the COVID-19 situation continues to change rapidly, please know that we’ll continue to prepare and adjust as quickly and effectively as possible. We will, of course, keep you closely posted of any changes which affect your work with Leaf.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me at anshu@leaflogistics.com.
